Pooch Uroflow Torsemide IP 10 mg (10 Tablets) Diuretic Tablet for Dogs & Cats :-

Pooch Uroflow tablets contain torsemide, which is a loop diuretic drug. It works by inhibiting Na/K-Cl cotransport in the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle. It works by increasing the loss of water & salt in the urine. This decreases the overall blood volume, reducing the effort needed for the heart to pump blood & thereby improving its function. It provides complete management of renal excretion and Congestive heart failure (CHF).

Description / Action :-
Pooch Uroflow tablets contain torsemide, which is a loop diuretic drug. It works by inhibiting Na/K-Cl cotransport in the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle. It works by increasing the loss of water & salt in the urine.

It provides complete management of renal excretion and Congestive heart failure (CHF).
Torsemide has a higher bioavailability and longer duration of action in comparison to furosemide. It has 20 times more diuretic effects in comparison to furosemide.

Indication / Usage :-
* It is indicated in dogs and cats for the treatment / clinical management of
* Oedema (Fluid retention; excess fluid held in body tissues) is caused by various medical problems, including heart,   
  kidney, or liver disease (Ascites).
* Congestive heart failure
* Management of renal excretion
* Supports electrolyte balance
 

Dosage/ Administration / Feeding Directions :-
The recommended dose of torasemide is 0.1 – 0.6 mg per kg body weight, once daily. The dose can be increased or decreased as directed by the veterinarian.

Overdosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings :-
Do not use in cases of Renal Failure, Dehydration, Anuria & Hypotension. It may cause hypokalemia and hypochloremia. Polyuria, polydipsia, and prerenal azotemia. For cats, calculate the dosage carefully, and it’s 1/20 of furosemide.
