Features :-
* Effective Management of Proteinuria: Telmisartan helps reduce protein loss in urine by lowering glomerular hypertension, making it beneficial in managing chronic  
  kidney disease (CKD) in cats and dogs.
* Blood Pressure Control:As an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), Telmisartan effectively manages systemic hypertension, particularly in felines, improving long- 
  term renal and cardiovascular health. 
* Kidney-Protective (Renoprotective) Properties: Reduces renal damage by decreasing intraglomerular pressure, thereby slowing the progression of CKD.

Directions for Use :-

For Cats :-
* For systemic hypertension to be given at 1.5mg/kg PO BID for 14 days . followed by 2mg/kg PO OID. 
* For proteinuria associated with CKD @1mg/kg PO BID 

For Dogs :- 
* Management of proteinuria for dogs with glomerular disease starts at 1mg/kg PO OID and can be increased by 0.5 mg /kg Do not exceed 2mg /kg.
